To streamline taxi transport for parents and carers, we offer a school run service driven with Professional Drivers.

Students with disabilities may be eligible for transport assistance to have a taxi transport them to/from school. Talk to your school first! They have information available on programs in place to support school taxi transport. You can also contact your State Government’s Education Department for more information on whether you qualify for transport assistance. Government-funded transport assistance may be provided to students with transport if they are unable to travel to school via traditional bus services. . If you are eligible for a Government-funded school run, this will be organised on your behalf and you will be notified of when the transport will begin. Melb Silver Taxi will arrange a regular Driver to transport the student to/from school each day. You will receive information on how to contact your local Melb Silver Taxi School Run Specialist for any questions or feedback. If you are not eligible for a government-funded school run, our specialised team can assist you to set up a Melb Silver Taxi Travel Account.

Here at Melb Silver Taxi, we prioritise safety to ensure all our passengers are transported with the utmost care. All taxis are fitted with CCTV technology and GPS tracking systems. Drivers have access to in-car alarm systems to alert our 24/7 Helpdesk of any emergency while on-road. All Melb Silver Taxi Professional Drivers have mandated police checks as part of the Driver Accreditation process and are required to complete additional training to be a part of the Melb Silver Taxi fleet.
